The EyesOn Design show is an annual exhibition that celebrates automotive design excellence of the past, present and future. Held at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, MI, proceeds from the event help provide financial support for aid to the visually impaired through the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology. Peugeot are taking the '5 by Peugeot' Concept to Geneva - the new Peugeot 508
Back in November we reported that Peugeot were going to stop producing the 407 and 607 and deliver a new car to fill the gap – the Peugeot 508. Which makes a whole heap of sense. Apart from in France it’s always been then case that the bigger the French car the poorer its sales are, and the poor old 607 hasn’t exactly set the world alight with its huge sale.
New Small Jaguar - but not before a new XF
We’ve discussed the replacement for the Jaguar X-Type – dubbed the New Small Jaguar – almost endlessly over the last year or two. Which with both the Jaguar XF and the Jaguar XJ replacing cars that were good but really didn’t sell, and turning them in to contenders for the top-spot in their sectors, a replacement for the X-Type is of huge interest. We had thought – in fact Jaguar had thought – that the plan to replace the X-Type was a high priority.
